Boonton Township, NJ (August 23, 2007) – DAD, the nation’s largest non-profit school and community outreach organization, dedicated to helping children fight Autism, and other disabilities with music, today announced the launch of the National DAD Drum Therapy® Tour, and the DAD Mobile Drum Therapy® Center.
“The Mobile Drum Therapy® Center is 36 feet long, and features DAD’s breakthrough education curriculum and technology in a mobile setting, to help children with Autism and other disabilities, develop self-esteem, retention, coordination, and physical and cognitive functioning,” said DAD President and CEO Pat Gesualdo. “The mobile center will also be featured at DAD teacher-training programs and parent workshops at schools and community centers across the U.S., to help inform and educate parents and teachers who raise and teach special needs children. Additionally, Many of the top celebrities, sports stars, politicians, and corporate executives who join us in the DAD Program, will also be traveling on board our mobile center,” Gesualdo adds.
The National DAD Tour, and the DAD Mobile Drum Therapy® Center, which is sponsored by Coca-Cola, Sony-BMG Entertainment, The Buddy Rich Drum Company, and Vater Percussion, will be featured at Grammar Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, Major Sporting Events, Shopping Malls, Entertainment Award Shows, Music Tours, and Medical and Education Conferences throughout the United States, starting August 29, 2007, in Pennsylvania.

DAD (Drums and Disabilities) is a Federal 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, that was originally launched as a pilot program in several New York City schools and communities, to help educate and inform Autistic and special needs children, and their parents and teachers.
