Extra Ordinary Casting is an exciting new venture with the unique role of teaming YOU with the TV and Film industry. We saw there was a need for an organisation to bridge the gap between the media and people like YOU. We aim to develop a positive image for people with disabilities within the media and help create challenging new role models.

Roz Sinclair, Casting Director and Founder: “I started thinking about Extra Ordinary Casting after my experience of working in television for over 12 years, where my responsibilities included casting primetime shows
and documentaries for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5. More recently I was the Casting Director for BBC2’s highly successful series Beyond Boundaries. Having spoken to and met hundreds of young people with disabilities who were prepared to do things I would be too scared to, my eyes were opened. I have realised that our ability to achieve anything is not limited by our physical bodies, but by the human spirit.”

We want to hear from people who are not going to be defined by their disability, who are interested in being considered for a wide range of TV programmes, Extra work in films and modelling.

Extra Ordinary Casting is in the process of being launched.
