Apple today is expected to unveil their new range of notebook computers, perhaps even one priced for those with tight budgets, at a gathering at its northern California headquarters in the city of Cupertino on Tuesday. Rumour online suggests that Apple will introduce a Macintosh laptop computer model priced as low as $800 (£475), which would be great news to those on low incomes wanting to obtain a quality Apple laptop notebook. In the past Apple has never sold a Macintosh laptop for less than $1,000. Apple's current cheapest laptop in its existing MacBook range is £650. The Asus Eee PC, which is available for £200, sold out almost everywhere it went on sale. It is thin, with a rounded lid and all connectors on one side, as well as black keys. The new generation MacBook has an all new design, with the black-bezel glass display like the MacBook Pro and Cinema Display. The GeForce 9400M* will be used in the new MacBook Pro.
