Using homeopathy for anxiety in a toddler or even babies is generally quite safe.

Homeopathy has been around for a very long time and has treated many ailments successfully.

Homeopathy may have existed hundreds of years before, but the modern father of homeopathy was a German physician named Samuel Hahnemann. His theories are over 200 years old.

The administration of these remedies are not painful. If anything, they generally taste sweet, so toddlers may not find it unpleasant to take it again.

A single dose has a long-lasting effect. They are generally a safe and gentle form of medicine. Homeopathy treats both physical and mental issues, including anxiety.

You still need to be careful. Never assume that just because something is natural, it's always going to be harmless. There may still be side effects, but not as common as conventional drugs.

Do Drugs ALWAYS Have To Be The Answer?

When you think about children under the age of 4 being given mood-altering drugs that can not only have side effects but also cause different reactions than that of older children, logically, can homeopathy be worse?

There was growing concern that toddlers were being prescribed antidepressants far more than they should be. It makes you wonder and worry why this is so, doesn't it?

The best thing to do is to get all the facts before deciding on a course of action for your child. If you do go with a homeopath, be patient in looking for the right one.

Your child may have issues with separation anxiety or stranger anxiety. You are more likely to face the problem of separation anxiety only because you may feel the hardship yourself.

Separation & Stranger Anxiety

Separation anxiety may make you feel guilty as you hear him or her crying. It's not easy on either one of you. One product that could help is called K-OK Kiddie Calmer. It seems to have a high success rate, judging from the renewal rate of satisfied customers.

Stranger anxiety is when a child feels distressed when they're exposed to unfamiliar faces. However, chances are, you'll be with your child, so they may feel protected at the same time.

Whether you use homeopathy for anxiety in your baby, toddler or young child, you can do so in the knowledge that it's a generally safe and effective form of treatment.

Even if modern science won't fully recognize homeopathy, that doesn't mean that it doesn't work. Millions of people use homeopathy and are probably happy with the results.

Perhaps in several decades, the tables may be turned.
