Now you can wear your life-saving medical information in style!
Hello, my name is Cindie Gittelman. Since the age of 10, I have battled the ups and downs of Type 1 diabetes and the disabilities it has caused such as kidney disease, hypertension, retinal eye problems, neuropathy and more. Living with the complications of Type 1 Diabetes, and having long term (16 yrs) kidney disease, in 2001, I needed to have a kidney transplant to prevent going on dialysis.
It is difficult enough to live with a chronic disability, but now as a result of the kidney transplant, I was told by my doctor’s that I must wear medical identification in case I could not speak for myself in a serious medical emergency.
In July of 2005 Creative Medical ID launched its own website, with over 100 unique styles which may be personalized and customized to your individual needs.
If you have a disability or medical condition, and are involved in a medical emergency, wearing medical identification can save your life. Paramedics and other medical professionals can easily identify your medical condition and give proper medical attention.
Be sure to put your next of kin or I.C.E. “In Case of Emergency” contact phone number on your medical id so important information about you can be relayed quicker.
