'Open Every Door,' the song for autism composed by the award winning Sri Lanka born singer/songwriter Nimal Mendis and sung by the South Asian superstar Gresha Schuilling.
This created history by being the first UK Autism Song to be released by Media Eye Music in London to mark the historic United Nations World Autism Awareness Day declared by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the UN General Assembly on Wednesday 2nd April 2008.
'Open Every Door' was featured on the international media and played on radio stations around the world. It is a moving song about a child with autism.
Copies of the Gresha Schuilling cover version were sent to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Leader of the Opposition David Cameron and Leader of the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg.
Composer Nimal Mendis presented a copy of the Gresha Schuiling cover version to the leading peer, Baroness Uddin in the House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster.
The presentation can also been seen on a Media Eye Productions Film with Baroness Uddin on the You Tube Channel to mark the first ever United Nations World Autism Awareness Day.
