Having problems entering chat rooms? Here are a few things you can try. Note: These items should always be done to maintain your computer security and to patch any vulnerabilities in your system whether you use the chat room or not. 1 - Check for Windows Updates Start button > Windows Updates Install any new updates as advised by the Microsoft website. 2 - Update Java If you see a red X in a white box you should make sure you have the latest version of Java installed. Download the latest Javafrom http://java.com/en/ (Its free) 3 - Update Flash Install the latest version of Flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ (Its free) 4 - Advanced users only using Widows Vista Advanced computer users having trouble with chat rooms loading and are using Windows Vista ONLY should view this web page: Windows Vista Java Chat Loading Issue 5 - Blank gray box when loading Try emptying your browser's cache (See below). Shut down all instances of your web browser after emptying the cache (temporary internet files).
