Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine to present Meditation and Memorial Concert featuring Kirsten Whitson, cello soloist
Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine presents its annual Meditation and Memorial concert, part of the Rosemary and Meredith Willson Harmony for Mayo Program. Each year, the concert is offered as a time of contemplation and commemoration.
WHO: Cellist Kirsten Whitson, originally from Chicago, has performed internationally as a cello soloist and collaborator. She received a Bachelor of Music and an Artist Diploma from Indiana University, where she trained under Fritz Magg, Wolfgang Laufer and Janos Starker. Whitson is an active guest performer with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Minnesota Orchestra and maintains a teaching studio in St. Paul, Minn.

This event is free and open to all Mayo staff, students, patients and the community. The program will also be broadcast live on Mayo Clinic's Patient/Visitor channel 10.
