Introduction
UK based company - Mountain Trike, which manufacture and sell an all-terrain wheelchair understand the importance of their customers being able to try before they buy and offer free demonstrations to customers. The Mountain Trike Company run a fairly small operation and in order to reach the demand of customer demonstrations have a number of Mountain Trike Experience Centers throughout the UK, where customers can have a demonstration at accredited Mountain Trike Centers.

The latest Experience Center to come on-board as an accredited Mountain Trike Experience Center is Experience Community CIC, which is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in Leeds. They provide films and information about walks and other leisure activities for disabled people and the wider community - offering videos, written information, maps, photos and links to other websites. They also build communities by providing walking and activity group sessions so people can make new friends and learn from each other's' experiences.
Director of Experience Community, Craig Grimes, who is a wheelchair user and bought a Mountain Trike via access to work funding was so impressed with the Trike's performance over any terrain he could see the potential for Mountain Trike within his business.
Talking about his involvement, Craig says, "My Mountain Trike allows me to travel over any un-even ground, trails, woodlands etc which is invaluable for my work at Experience Community - I'm always scoping out various accessible trails to enable those less able to confidently access the great outdoors. I run lots of guided group Mountain Trike rides and have built up Trike user groups so it's great to now be able to demo to potential Trike customers or hire the Trike out whilst customers are raising funds to purchase their own Trike. As an accredited Mountain Trike Center and a Mountain Trike owner I am able to give a full and confident demonstration, talk about maintenance and usability to customers."
Talking about the new Experience Center, Inventor and Managing Director of Mountain Trike, Tim Morgan says, "We're delighted to have Experience Community as our latest Mountain Trike Experience Center. We don't have Mountain Trike outlets but know how important it is for customers to try the Mountain Trike to see if it is suitable for them and discuss any issues face to face - so these Experience Centers are invaluable. Craig, is a great ambassador for Mountain Trike - not only as an Experience Center but as a Trike owner and user - he fully understands the product and I have every confidence that customers and potential customers will receive a fantastic service from Craig at Experience Community. Their set up is slightly different to our other Experience Centers in that they don't have a set base, but can organize rides and demos at various sites and take the Trike out to customers to try in their own setting. Craig is already doing a fantastic job so I'm very excited to have this new Experience Center in the North West."
