El Centro Offers Free HUD Counseling - Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Seminar.

El Centro is pleased to partner with the Department of Housing and Urban Development to present "Ask HUD: Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Seminar".

Join us Wednesday, May 19 for this unique opportunity to have your questions answered regarding fair housing, lending rights, and much more.

Topics to be covered include:

renting an apartment or house

applying for a home loan

modifying an existing home loan

fighting back against unlawful termination or eviction

questionable foreclosure

lenders offering high interest rates in certain neighborhoods

keeping your home.

English and Spanish-speaking counselors will be available.

Two sessions will be offered at the offices of El Centro, Inc., 650 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas, 66101. Please call (913) 677-0100 for more information.
