Disability Support Worker- Full Time - Casual

Life without Barriers has a fantastic opportunity for a number of Disability Support Workers to join their team in Darwin. We are currently hiring full time and casual staff to work in the Community Pathways Program. The program focuses on providing assistance to young people and adults in skill-focused programs that support the achievement of short and long term goals. Each person is encouraged to develop and maintain relationships within their community.

Senior Disability Support Worker- Full Time

The Senior Disability Support Worker's role includes the provision of direct support to clients, provision of professional leadership for staff, the development and maintenance of a supportive and safe working environment, and the delivery of quality services to, and outcomes for, people with a disability. The role involves working in a team-based environment in local community settings.

For the Support Worker role it is essential that applicants have Certificate III in Disability Work and Certificate IV in Disability Work (Preferred) for the Senior role. Also a current NT Drivers License,

Senior First Aid Certificate and Satisfactory Police check are essential.

LWB's ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and positive individual with strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work unsupervised in the community. LWB is looking for dedicated individuals who are genuinely committed to enhancing the quality of life of people with a disability.
