Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House was designed by Danish Architect Jorn Utzon and is today one of the most recognizable and world-renowned 20th century buildings. It's not only home to the many touring theaters, musical productions and ballets, but it's also home to Opera Australia, the Sydney Symphony, The Sydney Theater Company and the Sydney Opera House Trust.

The Sydney Opera House has 5 main entertainment and performance venues:

The Concert Hall - can seat up to 2,679 people. The Drama Theater - can seat up to 544 people. The Opera Theater - can accommodate up to 1,507 people. The Studio - can seat a maximum of 400 people. The Playhouse - 398 seats available here.

Each venue is in its own right magnificent and offers top class, modern facilities. You'll also find several restaurants as well as a number of souvenir shops here.

Sydney Harbour

Sydney Harbour is said to be the most beautiful and natural harbour in the world, spanning a distance of 240km of shoreline in tranquil and beautiful surroundings. Along Sydney Harbor you'll find many parks, gardens and nature reserves and of course you can't miss the exclusive houses overlooking its beautiful harbor. Sydney Tower

Hailed as one of the safest buildings in the world, it has countless sprinklers, over one million Australian dollars worth of fire safety equipment, a dampening system that involves 162,000 liters of water and 56 cables that can withstand extreme gale-force winds and earthquakes.

The Sydney Tower truly is an amazing structure that includes two levels of restaurants including one that rotates! There's a host of cafes to choose from, and a spectacular observation viewing platform.

Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach, the city's well known beach famous for its surf, is a must when in Sydney and it's a place in which you can kick back and relax on its golden strand under the warm Australian skies.

Watch the world go by from one of the many restaurants and cafes dotted along Bondi's promenade or browse the many shops and souvenir shops in the area.

Sydney Harbor Bridge

The Sydney Harbor Bridge links Sydney city to North Sydney. It took a total of 8 years to build and was officially opened in March 1932.

Sydney Harbor Bridge consists of 58 tonnes of steel and extends 134 meters above sea level at the highest point. There are 8 lanes of roadway and 2 railway tracks. There's also a footway, and walkers can avail of the walkway on the eastern side and another on the western side. On the western side there's also a bicycle lane.

In 1998 Sydney Harbor Bridge launched 'The Bridge Climb' which is certainly not for the faint hearted, or people afraid of heights! Get your adrenaline pumping and reach new heights with this amazing tour of steps and ladders over Sydney Harbor Bridge!
