New Website Launched to Match Disabled Job Seekers with Genuine Employment Opportunities. Evenbreak is a new venture, aiming to help disabled people gain employment, and employers access talented disabled job seekers.

Main Content

A new website designed to match employers and disabled job candidates has been launched by businesswoman Jane Hatton.

Evenbreak is a new recruitment site which is aimed at matching employers who genuinely understand the value of having a diverse workforce and wish to attract more talented disabled job seekers.

Jane, who herself is disabled, came up with idea through her understanding of the difficulties that disabled people encounter in the employment market and through talking to ethical, forward-thinking employers.

"Though my work as Managing Director of Public Sector Providers, a well-established training company specializing in delivering diversity training to the public sector, employers were telling me that they found it difficult to attract disabled applicants when they had job vacancies. In contrast, disabled people were telling us that when applying for jobs, as soon as they declared their disability the employer seemed to run a mile in the opposite direction! This site matches those employers who would look past the disability at the person, and disabled job seekers who would know the employers were serious about diversity."

The Evenbreak website can be found at www.evenbreak.co.uk and allows companies to advertise their jobs and search for candidates as well as allowing candidates to upload their CVs and search for suitable vacancies.

The informative website also includes interesting and relevant articles for both businesses and jobseekers alike.
