Introduction
Is the Disability Website LoveByrd Disabled Dating Site Closed?
Main Content
Disabled World has received several emails asking if Lovebyrd, a disability dating community at LoveByrd.com, is closed.
NOTE: Disabled World is NOT associated with LoveByrd in any way, nor do we know the reason it appears to be down. However, we decided to write a short post to help others wondering what happened to the site.
Typical e-mail received at Disabled World in regards to Disability Dating Website, LoveByrd.com
..... I have attempted several times to access the disability dating site at LoveByrd.com over the past weeks, however it appears the site is closed - or having major problems.
"Error: LoveByrd.com took too long to respond. The website may be temporarily down, it may not resolve without a www, or it may not exist at all."
Can you please tell me if LoveByrd is closed for good.....
We tried several Internet browsers on a few separate days and got the "This Page Cannot be Displayed" Error. It appears LoveByrd is currently offline, whether this is permanent we do not know.

This is a shame as LoveByrd.com, an online dating and meeting place for disabled people, had a large number of members with disabilities who called the web site "home". We do know that LoveByrd.com was acquired by Disaboom, an online community for the disabled, which seems to be having some major problems of their own. Hopefully LoveByrd will make a return in the future, if it does come back online please let us know so we can update this post...
