Introduction

The following article presents a comprehensive overview of the anti-vaccination movement, its potential dangers, and the importance of promoting evidence-based vaccine education to protect public health.

Main Item

Since the beginning of summer 2021, pretty much every COVID-19 death has been a preventable death. However, in today's society it appears there is just no fixing stupid.

Masks are no longer required in most places in Manitoba, Canada. The move to make mask use a strong recommendation, rather than a requirement, has been the most controversial shift in Manitoba's newly loosened public health restrictions, which were announced August 3rd and took effect Saturday August 7th at 12:01 a.m. The province is also ending capacity limits for most businesses, and doing away with any constraints on indoor and outdoor gatherings at private residences.

Like most thinking Canadians I was of the impression that mass stupidity ended with certain southern U.S. fringe states - looking at you Florida and Texas. However, recent news regarding COVID-19 has shown that, like an abscess filled with gunk and corruption seeping over the U.S. border into the oil sands and prairie dog holes of certain Canadian provinces, there are those who seem to have taken on the "hero" worship with constant sheep like bleating of their "gawd given right" familiar in so many U.S. states.

Frustrated by the prospect of the new surge of COVID-19 Delta Variant, many people are blaming the unvaccinated. Known only to themselves there seems to be joy among the unvaccinated that has to do with "power." Not their personal decision making power but with power over others - to make others suffer or potentially suffer. The mentality that "society will just have to wait for us" is, at the core, making others know that you have power. It's sickening. It's sadistic. Access to any sort of place were people congregate should be made contingent on showing proof of vaccination. Voluntary anti-vaxxers can stay home and get sick (and perhaps die). Fine, that's their choice. But it is NOT their choice to endanger the lives of people who cannot get vaccinated, despite a desire to do so. It is not their right to infect and potentially kill innocent men, women, and children.

Social media is rife with ridiculous comments and memes such as the one above which reads: I find it very suspicious that Covid seems to only be targeting people who didn't get that ridiculous vaccine. Has anybody else noticed this? Why is the virus only killing those who stand up to the government jab all of a sudden?

How About Us, the Vaccinated?

Perhaps we should file a class action suit against those who choose to go unvaccinated, as these individuals appear to claim a right to infect other people. Surely, with the U.S. being the most ridiculously litigious country on earth, someone, somewhere should file suit? This is a public health crisis. The negligence, stupidity, and ignorance of the unvaccinated should be classified as criminal. People don't have the freedom to infect other people. Think Typhoid Mary. Think STDs. Think HIV. Public health officials have every right to make sure that these clueless people do not constitute a public danger. Soon the mass of Canadian Federal, State, and private lawsuits will start, and deservedly so.

I pay taxes so the government can protect me against public-health emergencies, crime and other social threats. It's time to deny insurance coverage for Covid, including its current and future variants, to those who refuse to get vaccinated without a genuine legitimate justification. Sorry, the unvaccinated don't get to decide whether or not I have the right to be angry at their irresponsible and selfish behavior. I'm angry that they are endangering the lives of myself and others, and if someone spouts anti-vaccine nonsense at me, they will get a piece of my mind. Otherwise I'm accepting bullying behavior.

By now, when we should be coming out of the pandemic, we are not because of stupid conspiracy theories pushed by elected members of Congress, social media justice warriors (SJW's), and some people in the media with their own agenda(s). If you refuse to take even the infinitesimal risk of being vaccinated, you don't truly love your neighbor, you are not a patriot. Stop pretending you are the true Christians and patriots; you are the opposite.

COVID-19: Where are the world's unvaccinated people?

Just Get a Vaccine and be Done with It!

It is not logical to attribute it to a political or other cause. Just get the vaccine, quiet up and go on with your lives especially now that you are vaccinated and have a life to live. Without it, you are rolling the proverbial dice and the house will be against you.

Anger and Disappointment

I am angry. I am also disappointed that the COVID-19 vaccines and masks have become a political issue and not a crystal clear health issue. The bottom line: if you are not vaccinated you are at greater risk of being a carrier and should be quarantined until you come to your senses and get vaccinated. This is not a personal decision. It is a public health necessity, and your personal liberty has to take a back seat. If we have the tools to determine exactly who spread the virus and they have no valid health related excuse for not being vaccinated we should be able to sue them for everything they have. And in a case where there's proof of spreading the Coronavirus, imprison them.

It's hard to see any difference between the anti-vaccination dupes and people who drive at high speed while drunk and cause fatal accidents. They don't care if they kill someone or not because freedom, right? If Ebola was the virus spreading across the world - whereby most infected die a very extremely painful death via bleeding out through every orifice - rather than COVID-19, these same ridiculously arrogant people would be falling over one another fighting for the vaccine...

It's Simple Evolution

The longer the virus continues to linger and multiply the longer the world's petri dish of mutations and variants have to evolve, until a vigorous deadly dominant mutant variant and/or strain arises and wipes out humanity.

It is well past time for leaders of not just this but every country on Earth to stop piddling around by uniting in formulating laws and contingency plans, to come down HARD on non-conformists, be the deterrents consist of isolation camps, imprisonment for manslaughter/murder, or compulsory vaccinations for the anti-vaxxer lunatic fringe. Not only will the unvaccinated place a great burden on the health care system, but their illnesses could have been prevented or mitigated by vaccinations. The costs to society will be large and will affect society as a whole.
