About Leadership Summit America

The Leadership Summit America is an annual event designed to inspire, educate, and connect leaders from diverse industries. Held in Albany, New York, the summit features top-tier speakers and offers attendees the chance to network and grow their leadership skills in an immersive environment.

Insights, Analysis, and Developments

Editorial Note: It was not a marketing charade, it was not selling yourself to sell your product or course, the 9th Annual Leadership Summit America was truly about Leadership - and it was marvelous.

According to speaker Lynette Louise:

"Every speaker lined up perfectly with the next, building upon each other's qualities. Like a relay race where each speaker passed the baton to the other and everyone was working as a team toward a common goal, utilizing their separate strengths and strategies. It was the best summit I have been to."

This momentum was built purposely by Sharon Burstein, the presenter of the Annual Leadership Summit America. While putting the event together she explained to the presenters, "Each talk builds upon the other; think choreography as we continue to build momentum."

The speakers shared insights from their diverse range of expertise. Among them: image expert, stuntman, brain and autism specialist, radio host, global positive change expert, retired United States Army Sargent and Purple Heart recipient, social media expert, and community impact innovator. The list is intriguing but falls short of impressing the impact of the inspiration, experience, and practical advice each had to offer.

With a shared belief in the value of Leadership for the sake of guiding toward greatness, rather than only aiming for riches or recognition, the overwhelming mood in attendance was one of inspired action. Speaker after speaker impressed audiences with personal stories of doing great things in order to lead, themselves and others, to great places.

The attendees were largely young adults which adds to the potential impact of this phenomenal event. As each presentation built upon the next, the leaders of tomorrow were gifted with real life leadership examples, inspired with personal stories, and infused with the energy of doing.

It can feel sometimes like the Leadership in our world is lacking. Yet there are so many impressive people doing valuable things in their leadership roles. Some are parents, some are CEOs, some are artists, some are entrepreneurs. The list is varied and endless. I believe it is incumbent upon us to seek to elevate such leaders, to emulate and recognize them, to encourage and become them.

Although the Leadership Summit America has passed, hopefully its impact and influence will grow. In the meantime, feel free to visit the website and see who the speakers were. If any of them interest you, seek out their online presence. Consider reaching out and attending upcoming events. Consider inviting them to speak at your own. Tsara Shelton - Disabled World (DW).
